The Results of Regular Exercise Y ou should exercise at least 2 and half hours a week of moderate exercise  moderate intensity activity or 1 hour 15 for high intensity exercise  vigorous intensity activity To help keep healthy and live longer any kind of exercise a day is proven to reduce illnesses.  Adults should: On a daily basis at home I usually exercise 5 or 6 days a week. This may sound a lot however for me just doing some physical exercise makes me feel better in the mind and in my appearance.      The Guidelines state that adults should: work on shoulders, hips, abdomen, legs, chest and arms at least two days a week which are   strengthening activities . Open link for ideas   Avoid lying down or sitting for longer than you should by incorporating some form of exercise.
